Faithful One, forgive me...

"Forgive me, Lord, when I feel as though You are not enough.  Forgive my wandering mind and heart that seeks fulfillment in other things.  I do not know why I allow myself to drift from your hands but I thank you for always tapping me on the shoulder to remind me to grab back on.  Please help me.. I do not know what to do next.  I know you will lead me where I need to be.  Take away the desires that are not of you, and strengthen the ones that are.  Reveal yourself to me more and more each day so that I may recognize you more readily and follow you more swiftly.  Right now I feel lost and uncertain what my next step should be...
You know, thank you.
Thank you for revealing yourself in the past, and for your faithfulness, forgiveness, friendship.  Help me to not give up, but to continue forward with the present knowledge I possess.  Let me not be discouraging or condescending to others but help me, work through me to encourage and uplift them in the ways that they need.  Give me patience, help me have self-control.
You are God, you are good and I do not understand or know why you have chosen to love me so much or even at all but I am trusting in you, slowly more and more each day.  I am trying, but sometimes I fail.  Do not let me believe the lies of Satan, that nothing I do is ever good enough.  Thank you for forgiving me, help me forgive myself.. Open the doors that need to be opened, close the doors that need to be closed that I do not have the strength to walk away from.  Lead me, because I do not know how to lead myself.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
"I do not understand what I do.  For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.  And if I do what I do not want to do I agree that the law is good.  As it is, it is no longer myself who do it but it is sin living in me.  I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.  For I have the desires to do what is good, but cannot carry it out.  For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do - this I keep on doing.  Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work:  When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.  For in my inner being I delight in God's law;  but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.  What a wretched man I am!  Who will rescue me from this body of death?  Thanks be to God - through Jesus Christ our Lord!...
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.  And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will."
